FAQ
How much does a custom DJ edit cost?
It depends on the scope: a new intro and outro takes less time than a full remix in a different genre. After the free call you get a fixed price including German VAT.
What is the difference between an edit and a remix?
An edit changes the structure of the original: length, intro, outro, breaks. The song stays recognisably the same. A remix turns the song into a new track with a new foundation and a new groove.
Which songs are possible?
Almost any: current hits, classics, pop, rock or schlager. The better the source file, the better the result.
What do you need from me?
The song as a high-quality file (WAV or a good MP3, legally purchased) and your wishes: tempo, length, mood, ideally with reference tracks.
Can I release or sell the edit?
No. Edits of other artists' songs are for your own set only. For a release you would need permission from the rights holders.
How long does it take?
It depends on the scope. We set the delivery date in your quote, ideally in good time before your next gig.
